About The Position

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for a Part-time Certified Clinical Supervisor (LCSW, LPCC) in the state of New Jersey to provide weekly Supervision to our Associate Therapists and Interns and help to build our IIC Clinical Therapy and Internship Program. Requirements

  • Must be willing to work a Hybrid schedule, occasionally traveling to our Youth Center in East Orange, New Jersey.
  • Must have LCSW or LPCC under the state of New Jersey
  • Must be certified to do clinical supervision
  • Must have a master’s or doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience providing clinical supervision
  • Has experience Supervising MSW, LSW and LAC
  • Has experience Supervising Master Level Interns
  • Has experience in Program Management and Development
  • Has experience in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Crisis and Prost-Trauma Intervention
  • Has experience working with youth ages 2-21 with developmental disabilities, mental, behavioral and emotional disorders in a clinical and/or community setting
  • Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
  • Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
  • Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
  • Must be available for a minimum 5-10 hours and maximum of 20 hours per week during after-school hours of 4-7 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
  • Must have experience providing positive behavior support.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
  • Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
  • State Reciprocity is considered but the candidate needs to be no more than 25-30 minutes commute to the designated service areas. The license must be registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (i.e., PA & NJ).

  • Has prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the Development, Implementation, and Evaluation of the Clinical and Internship Program
  • Completing Internship Placement Site Applications and Questionnaires for affiliated Universities
  • Sign off on internship placement site applications where needed
  • Collaborating with universities as needed to assist with internship clinical supervision
  • Virtual/Online Supervision for one-on-one and group supervision
  • Provide Weekly Clinical Supervision for Associate Therapists (LAC, LSW, MFT) - group and individual.
  • Provide Weekly Clinical Supervision for Interns (MSW, and MA in Counseling)- group and individual.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation for interns and associate counselors: including supervision contracts, evaluations, signing hour logs, progress notes, treatment plans, and internship or clinical hours completion documentation
  • Reviewing and Approving BA Treatment Plans submitted by Therapists in Cyber
  • Consulting with Internship Coordinators, Consultants, and Directors
  • Completing required Supervisor training for DCF/CSOC and affiliated Universities
  • Assist in Training and Development of Associate Therapists and Interns.
  • Attending Case Consultations, Child Family Team Meetings when available, and Staff Meetings or Trainings when needed
  • Provide training for the delivery of parent coaching to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
  • Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory weekly paperwork
  • Ability to to train Associate Therapists and Interns in completing Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.
  • Be able to attend Therapy Sessions to Provide Supervision for individual in-community therapy sessions and group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, in-home and/or telehealth
  • Must be knowledgeable and be able to train on coping and social skills, anger management, and techniques to reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
  • Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family when needed
  • Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames
