Requirements
- Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
- Active Pennsylvania licensure such as CADC, CAADC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required
- 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health
- 2+ years of supervisory or clinical leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of co-occurring disorder treatment and inpatient care models
- Excellent leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, structured inpatient environment
- Candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state‑mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting‑body regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of clinicians providing inpatient treatment services for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders
- Provide individual and group supervision to licensed and unlicensed clinicians
- Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, determine level of care, and assign DSM-5-TR diagnoses
- Oversee development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Participate in and facilitate interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case reviews
- Maintain caseload to ensure continuity of care and support patient flow
- Partner with facility leadership to support program development and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Perform regular documentation reviews and clinical chart audits to ensure compliance
- Ensure all programming aligns with state regulations, licensing requirements, and Pyramid Healthcare standards
- Respond to patient crises and provide clinical direction to maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to support integrated patient care
