Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
  • Active Pennsylvania licensure such as CADC, CAADC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required
  • 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health
  • 2+ years of supervisory or clinical leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of co-occurring disorder treatment and inpatient care models
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, structured inpatient environment
  • Candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state‑mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting‑body regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of clinicians providing inpatient treatment services for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders
  • Provide individual and group supervision to licensed and unlicensed clinicians
  • Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, determine level of care, and assign DSM-5-TR diagnoses
  • Oversee development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in and facilitate interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case reviews
  • Maintain caseload to ensure continuity of care and support patient flow
  • Partner with facility leadership to support program development and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Perform regular documentation reviews and clinical chart audits to ensure compliance
  • Ensure all programming aligns with state regulations, licensing requirements, and Pyramid Healthcare standards
  • Respond to patient crises and provide clinical direction to maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to support integrated patient care
