Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in Indiana
  • Minimum of 1 year in area being hired into
  • At least 1 year of supervisory and caregiver management experience
  • CPR certification
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws and regulatory standards
  • Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with laws and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides, therapists, and social workers to ensure client and patient standards are met.
  • Hire, orient, train, supervise, and retain qualified clinicians, supportive services, and caregivers
  • Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures
  • Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction
  • Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient/client care
  • Assist the Director in managing Quality and Quality Assurance
  • Participate and help lead interdisciplinary meetings of the team and coordinate plans of care
