The Hospice Clinical Weekend Supervisor will serve as an active clinical leader for the after-hours team, providing real-time support, guidance, and decision-making assistance during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role involves answering triage calls, assessing patients over the phone, scheduling and managing overnight visits, and assisting with after-hours staffing coordination. The supervisor will also respond to emergent patient needs in the field when necessary, maintain a responsive leadership presence at the office, and remain accessible and accountable during assigned shifts to ensure continuity of care and operational effectiveness. The position requires demonstrating leadership presence, sound clinical judgment, and operational accountability. Additionally, the role involves engaging in ongoing professional development, traveling to patient residences for direct oversight and clinical intervention, maintaining oversight of medical supply management, and ensuring compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and CHAP accreditation standards. The Clinical Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Director of Clinical Services and provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical guidance to nursing and aide staff.
