About The Position

Acts on behalf of the Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, and hospital administrators in dealing with Nursing and operational issues by facilitating communication and problem-solving and by providing guidance, direction, education, and support to the nursing employees while observing, assessing and evaluation the quality of care provided for patients. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Nursing Administration, UHS Senior Living at Ideal Primary Work Shift: Evening Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Requirements

• A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Three (3) years of progressive Nursing experience.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
• CPR within 3 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
• Previous supervisory experience in a hospital setting
• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration)
• ACLS certification
