About The Position
Direct clinical operations of substance use disorder treatment program for pregnant and parenting individuals. Ensure implementation and effective execution of on-site comprehensive clinical services for this population, inclusive of provision of individual and group psychotherapy and psycheducation and coordination of medical and behavioral health care with affiliated medical staff.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in social work, chemical dependency, psychology, counseling, or other related field which includes a practicum in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
- Three years experience in the field of human services with an emphasis on pregnant and parenting substance use treatment.
Nice To Haves
- LCSW, LPC, or CAC
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group supervision to employees, addressing strengths, areas for improvement, and ensuring implementation of program treatment policy and philosophy.
- Monitor treatment records and provide administrative supervision to supervisees to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations regarding clinical documentation.
- Oversee on-going staff development and training including assessing areas of need.
- Facilitate clinical team meetings to address clinical barriers and provide staff training on regulatory issues.
- Develop Annual Training Schedule in conjunction with Program Director and Residential Clinical Director.
- Develop, implement, and monitor a plan for engaging and maintaining client engagement in clinical therapeutic services.
- Assume program responsibilities in the absence of supervisor.
