About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor II position provides leadership and oversight to a clinical team delivering substance use disorder treatment services. The incumbent is expected to actively represent and promote CCS values and principles. Work includes flexibility in work hours and may include on-call responsibilities. Catholic Community Services of Western Washington and the Archdiocesan Housing Authority (doing business as Catholic Housing Services and Coordinated Care Agency) are outreaches of the Catholic Church in Western Washington. Rooted in the Gospel message of love and hope, we recognize the sacredness and dignity of every human person. Our focus is on those individuals, children, families, and communities struggling with poverty and the effects of intolerance and racism. Matt Talbot Center is a licensed outpatient substance use provider within the King County Behavioral Health and Recovery Division. Our purpose is to assist adults living with substance use disorders to improve their quality of life. Our clients may be homeless or struggling to maintain their housing; living in poverty; or may be challenged with mental illnesses in addition to their addictions.

Requirements

  • Active Substance Use Disorder Professional credential in good standing with the WA Department of Health (formerly, CDP)
  • At least one year’s experience in working with adults experiencing homelessness.
  • 2+ year clinical supervisory experience and 30 documented hours in clinical supervision training
  • Must be strength-based and solution-focused.
  • Pass background check through Washington State Patrol.

Nice To Haves

  • Meet or exceed criteria for a Mental Health Professional (Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, or related degree with 2 + years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

  • Respond to screen incoming requests walk-in urgent crises or issues that arise from existing or potential clients as they appear in the building.
  • Provide active coaching and supervision for clinical practice and job duties to staff
  • Provide and facilitate the provision of a range of therapeutic responses that support the overall direction for the client.
  • Represent CCS and the Matt Talbot Center at fundraising events, community activities, meetings with funders, and educational programs.
