About The Position

Valley View is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for our Histology team! This is a day shift position where the Clinical Supervisor will oversee all Anatomic Pathology departments of the lab, specifically Histology and Cytology. The role involves working with a great team of dedicated scientists in a collaborative lab environment.

Requirements

Graduate of a one-year accredited histology program
Certificate in Histology
ASCP certified, ASMT certified or equivalent required
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Knowledge of instrumentation
2 years current experience

Responsibilities

Performs departmental Technologist duties as needed
Oversees the function of the assigned Laboratory section including staff competency and proficiency testing, equipment maintenance and documentation of quality controls.
