About The Position

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community! Position Summary: Participate as a leader and active team-member to support the behavioral health of clients accessing services at FSRI. Responsible for supervising the Mobile Response team including implementation of MRSS program and Adult Mobile Crisis. Supports a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care. Supervises clinicians, triage staff and provides support to agency-wide Emergency Response System (ERS). Performs crisis assessments, brief treatment, and consultation where needed, and manages evidenced based models of treatment. Participates in on-call emergency services. Conducts clinical training on the MRSS Model and acts as a leader within the agency in the area of Emergency Services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc)
  • Independently licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
  • 1 year prior clinical supervisory experience
  • Experience providing emergency evaluation is a plus
  • QMHP or QMHP eligible
  • Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Travel to and from clients’ residence, community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs
  • Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements

Nice To Haves

  • LCDP or experience in substance use is beneficial
  • Spanish Speaking preferred
