Working under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services and in conjunction with the treatment team, the Clinical Supervisor manages all aspects of the Crisis Stabilization Unit. This team provides intervention and crisis stabilization services to children and youth 5-17 in a mental health or other crisis. Services are performed in the Crisis Stabilization Unit with some in-home treatment implementation. Responsibilities include overall operation of the CSU including 24 hour crisis line, dispatching staff for crisis intervention; admission to CSU; stabilization with rapid discharge planning. Responsive coordination with Community Service Boards and fluid wrap-around service planning and implementation. Responsibilities include staffing, training, assessments, oversight of service delivery and clinical supervision. All work is performed within a systems-based framework with strong collaboration skills with and in support of other services offered by St. Joseph's Villa.
