About The Position

Saint Luke's South has an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager in the Breast Center. The Clinical Supervisor acts as a resource for the staff in the area of maintaining departmental records, scheduling, staff development, and other special projects. The Clinical Supervisor assesses learning needs and plans, implements, and evaluates educational activities for nursing staff in the department. Serves as a clinical resource and change agent for staff in the promotion and support of the professional practice environment.

Requirements

• 1 year Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Bachelor's Degree

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse Navigator with 3 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists the Clinical Nurse Manager in supervising planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the day-to-day operation of the unit, including all personnel-related aspects of the department.
• Serves as a positive professional role model exhibiting clinical leadership, independent judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Acts as a resource for the staff in the area of maintaining departmental records, scheduling, staff development, and other special projects.
• Assesses learning needs and plans, implements, and evaluates educational activities for nursing staff in the department.
• Serves as a clinical resource and change agent for staff in the promotion and support of the professional practice environment.
