We welcome new ideas and share a passion for excellent service to our customers and each other. Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Summer Intern to join our team! The Summer Intern supports the function of their designated department within Navitus, Lumicera or Epiphany. This internship aims to stimulate student pharmacists’ interest in drug research, health outcomes, and pharmacoeconomics through exposure to research, measurement, and applications to evidence-based decision-making.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent
Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy program
Must be 18 years or older
Proven adequate mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Nice To Haves

Experience working in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
Work experience or education paths determined desirable by the department each intern supports

Responsibilities

Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
Conduct drug literature reviews and provide summaries of pertinent information
Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
Manage, organize, and analyze information databases relative to intern projects
Support the mission and conduct themselves in a professional and responsible manner while abiding by all privacy and confidentiality requirements
Follow all corporate and departmental policies and procedures
Recognize, suggest, and assist with process improvements
Display critical thinking and problem-solving competencies commensurate with realistic expectations of an intern
Assist with recordkeeping and filing
Be available to work 40 hours per week and, if asked, some occasional overtime
Other duties as assigned
