About The Position
The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation is looking for a summer clinical intern. This internship in the Arthritis & Clinical Immunology Research Program will provide motivated students the opportunity to assist with clinical research studies directed towards understanding the mechanisms of autoimmunity. Responsibilities may include studying participant recruitment and screening, conduct of clinical research visits, and data collection and entry.
Requirements
- Interest in clinical research
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be professional, team oriented, and personable
- Must be able to take direction/follow instructions
- Ability to record/maintain meticulous records
Nice To Haves
- Full-time undergraduate student
- At least 36 hours of science course work completed
- Strong interest in the pursuit of graduate level education in the biological sciences or medicine is preferred
