2026 Summer Intern (Clinical Outsourcing)
About The Position
Our interns will assist with the daily operations in each of their specific departments assigned to and gain exposure, including but not limited to: This summer intern will work closely with the Clinical Outsourcing team and other functional areas as needed on supporting development of Smartsheet dashboard, and vendor benchmarking tools. Hands-on, meaningful work experience in their field of study. Work in the industry on applying leading edge technology. Use school knowledge in real-work situations. Explore the environment and culture of a leading biotechnology company. Develop a network of industry contacts for future mentorship and guidance. Provide qualified and enthusiastic candidates for short-term projects. Encourage word-of-mouth advertising when Interns return to school. Potential to bring new science technologies and knowledge from the classroom into the workplace.
Requirements
- Strong interest in clinical research and bio-pharmaceutical development.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with plans to return to school in the fall.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2026.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in development of Smartsheet dashboard and vendor benchmarking database.
- Coordinate meetings and communication with internal teams.
- Help do a deep dive into vendor budgets and extract benchmarking data.
