About The Position

Trexo Robotics is seeking a motivated Clinical Success Specialist with physiotherapy experience to join their team. This role involves leveraging technology to help children with movement disorders walk using powered wearable robots. The specialist will be the main point of contact for customers, responsible for training users, setting goals, and supporting their journey with the device. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing startup and directly improve clients' lives. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the Mississauga office, with potential for occasional evening or weekend work.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT, MPT, or DPT) or relevant degree, with experience working as an PTA with pediatric experience.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience, ideally with pediatric populations.
  • A deep, first-principles understanding of human kinematics, gait cycles, and postural alignment to optimize robotic parameters for diverse pathologies.
  • High level of English proficiency (verbal and written) with the ability to translate complex clinical concepts into easy-to-understand instructions for families.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and digital tools.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and the USA (up to 20%).
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the location they are applying for; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience working with populations with complex neurological conditions (e.g., Cerebral Palsy, GMFCS levels IV-V, Spina Bifida, or SMA).
  • Previous exposure to MedTech, robotics, or telehealth platforms.
  • Registered Physiotherapist in Canada.
  • Experience with business applications and tools like Salesforce and Airtable.
  • Proficiency in a second language.

Responsibilities

  • Perform video-based customer training for new Trexo device users.
  • Provide regular check-ins with customers post-deployment.
  • Collaborate with customers to establish clear goals and ensure satisfaction.
  • Proactively reduce customer churn through high-touch interactions and personalized support.
  • Build KPIs to track customer satisfaction and team performance.
  • Address individual customer queries daily via chat groups.
  • Help design and validate upcoming research studies with clinical partners.
  • Attend conferences with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and end-users, with potential for presenting.
  • Manage customer issues by creating and prioritizing tickets for resolution.
  • Oversee case reviews to ensure documentation and data are well-prepared.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues using logs or video calls.
  • Develop training plans and videos to streamline the support and training process.
  • Provide feedback to engineering and production teams based on user input.
