About The Position

Under the direct supervision of a preceptor and/or clinical faculty, observe and provide services within scope of practice to patients in an assigned area. Adhere to the policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by the hospital and academic institution during the clinical rotation period. Ensure timely submission of required documentation, including consent forms, immunization records, and any other necessary paperwork. Participate in the care of patients in a variety of patient care settings with sufficient frequency to achieve the competencies required by the student's program discipline. Participate in appropriate institutional committees affecting the student's education and/or patient care experience.

Requirements

Enrollment in an accredited academic program leading to a degree or certification in a healthcare-related field.
Willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Understanding of and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
