We are seeking a Clinical Strategy Lead to join our team at Commure! This role serves as a clinical bridge across Product, Sales, and strategic customer accounts, ensuring solutions are designed, validated, and delivered with strong clinical alignment. This individual partners closely with Product and Engineering to shape workflows and accelerate development, while also engaging executive stakeholders at key health systems to translate clinical needs into product and account strategy. Additionally, they support go-to-market efforts by articulating clinical value in sales engagements and enabling teams with the insights needed to drive adoption and growth. The ideal candidate will have experience as a clinician in a dynamic medical environment and will use that knowledge to support current and future customers, collaborating with engineering, product design, marketing, and sales support.

Requirements

  • Current or Previous Medical license (MD, DO, PA, NP, PT, OT, RN)
  • Experience in the healthcare environment required
  • Ability to create and maintain strong divisional relationships
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Proven experience working with multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with clinical, marketing, sales, and ops audiences
  • High level of flexibility, creativity, dependability, and professionalism
  • Basic familiarity with AI tools or natural language processing concepts
  • Proficient in core Microsoft Office Suite or Google-Suite Applications
  • Travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define clinical workflows, shape requirements, and accelerate development of OBHG solutions (AC+, Ambient, Ambient+)
  • Provide hands-on clinical input throughout the product lifecycle to ensure usability, accuracy, and strong end-user adoption
  • Serve as a clinical advisor to strategic accounts (e.g., HCA, Tenet), leading executive-level discussions with VP/MD stakeholders
  • Translate customer needs and frontline insights into actionable product and account strategy recommendations
  • Support Sales in calls, demos, and onsite engagements by articulating clinical value and validating workflows
  • Enable GTM success by refining messaging, supporting deal cycles, and equipping teams with clinical expertise
  • Having a deep understanding of all products under the Athelas & Commure portfolio, current and all new product as released
  • Having a deep understanding of the clinical application and desired outcomes of all company products
  • Training all sales, ops and other internal teams on products focusing on the relevant needs of each group, including new hire training, new product training, and new campaign training
  • Collaborating with product and operations to produce effective training materials
  • Providing new customer product education for large implementations within the division, coordinating and collaborating with the implementation team
  • Stay informed on updates in medical coding standards, AI, natural language processing, and healthcare technology to incorporate relevant advancements into prompt design
