About The Position

The purpose of this position is to focus on capturing Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) and Hemorrhagic (HEM) portfolios market share, maximizing utilization of stroke care interventional products in an assigned territory by working closely with Territory Managers, Territory Stroke Representatives, Lab personnel, interventional radiologists, neurologists or neurosurgical specialties and hospital administrators. This role drives adoption, usage and pull through of acute ischemic stroke devices, leads product evaluations with the goal of account conversion, and drives continuous expansion of the stroke care portfolio of products within the hospital to enable the sales team to achieve sales goals. The Clinical Specialist leads lab staff in-servicing on stroke case management, including room setup, preparation, and best practices for managing a case, with an education focus on procedural steps and improved outcomes. They also lead formal/informal product presentations and provide case coverage with a primary focus on acute ischemic stroke procedures and a secondary focus on scheduled aneurysm cases. This role requires availability on an on-call basis, with 50% travel, and may provide extended case coverage for open territories. The individual will become a Stryker expert across all stroke solutions, procedures, industry trends, and competitive issues, while developing strong relationships with NV territory managers and enabling functions. Responsibilities also include responsibly managing all administrative tasks, budgets, sales reporting, and expense reporting, and performing other duties as assigned by manager. Additionally, the role involves establishing and supporting a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the Quality Policy, Quality System, and appropriate regulations for the area supported, ensuring employees are trained and their training is documented.

Requirements

  • 4 or more years of clinical experience with a proven track record
  • Healthcare related field strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the lab environment preferred

Benefits

  • Base + commission: $130,000.00
