About The Position

We’re hiring a Clinical Specialist to support the growth and adoption of an innovative robotic-assisted surgical platform throughout the New York City region. This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role focused on operating room support, surgeon training & education, robotic-assisted procedures, clinical excellence & procedural success, and long-term hospital partnerships. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Medical device sales, Clinical specialist or field clinical support, Surgical robotics support, Advanced surgical technology
  • Strong operating room experience required
  • Experience supporting procedures in a hospital OR environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Comfortable managing multiple hospital accounts and priorities
  • Ability to travel throughout the NYC territory as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Surgical robotics or robotic-assisted surgery
  • Minimally invasive surgery (MIS)
  • Laparoscopic surgery
  • General surgery, gynecology, urology, thoracic, or colorectal procedures
  • Surgical Tech or Scrub Tech background strongly preferred
  • Experience training surgeons and OR staff on new technology platforms
  • Experience supporting utilization growth within hospital systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support in the operating room before, during, and after robotic-assisted surgical procedures
  • Ensure surgeons and OR teams have a seamless procedural experience
  • Deliver clinical education and training for surgeons, nurses, scrub techs, sterile processing teams, and perioperative staff
  • Support new surgeon onboarding, account launches, and procedural adoption initiatives
  • Troubleshoot workflow and clinical challenges in real time during procedures
  • Serve as the clinical expert for robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgical cases
  • Build strong partnerships with surgeons, OR leadership, hospital administrators, and supply chain teams throughout the NYC territory
  • Support procedural growth and technology adoption within assigned accounts
  • Assist with evaluations, in-services, product demonstrations, and training programs
  • Partner cross-functionally with leadership to increase utilization and expand procedural volume
  • Help identify opportunities to introduce new specialties and increase surgeon engagement
  • Represent the organization professionally at trainings, hospital meetings, and industry events
