About The Position

This field-based role involves educating physicians and neurointerventional teams on device use, deployment techniques, and troubleshooting in acute stroke and endovascular procedures. The specialist will lead training sessions, in-service education, and provide hands-on support in angiography suites and neurointerventional labs. A key aspect of the role is partnering with commercial teams to identify and support opportunities to expand the use of neurovascular therapies. The specialist will provide clinical and technical support during procedures, including time-sensitive stroke interventions, acting as a clinical resource and trusted partner to neurointerventionalists, neurologists, and stroke teams. Building strong working relationships with physicians and hospital staff is crucial for consistent and effective therapy use. The role also involves supporting complex cases, providing escalation support, staying current on neurovascular disease and stroke care, and sharing feedback with Product Development and Medical Affairs. Documentation of case observations and clinical learnings is required per company and regulatory standards. Ultimately, the role supports the overall growth and clinical excellence of the neurovascular business.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with neurointerventional teams, stroke neurologists, neurosurgeons, and cath lab staff.
  • Strong interest in improving outcomes for patients with stroke and other neurovascular conditions.
  • Good clinical judgment and ability to think clearly in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple and clear way.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to build basic presentations.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical device clinical role, cath lab, or neurointerventional/stroke-focused environment required
  • Strong understanding of neurovascular anatomy, stroke physiology, and endovascular procedures.
  • Proven ability to support procedures in high-acuity clinical settings.

  • Experience working in a medical device or commercial healthcare environment is a plus.

Responsibilities
