Abbott is a global healthcare leader focused on helping people live more fully. The Vascular division seeks a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure, for a field-based position in Denver, Colorado. This role supports the development and implementation of innovative, minimally invasive products for vascular disease treatment. The specialist will be responsible for case planning, providing technical and product expertise, and educating customers in the hospital setting to achieve sales goals and increase market share. The position has a strong emphasis on the Vessel Closure portfolio.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-5+ years of related work experience
Ability to travel 50% within assigned region

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting, focusing on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff for the Vessel Closure portfolio.
Identify customer clinical needs, goals, and constraints, and discuss how Vascular products can help achieve them.
Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision-makers.
Act as the primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products.
Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations.
Attend clinical procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room to ensure customer and patient success.
Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with other departments.
Support the broader Region with case support as needed, in addition to the defined territory.
