About The Position
This position will rotate at least one weekend per month in addition to covering open shifts in the Full-time Clinical Pharmacy Specialist schedule throughout the week. Functions as a clinical expert in a specialty practice area (e.g. oncology, transplant, critical care, and/or nutrition support). Assesses and evaluates drug therapy and makes recommendations as appropriate. Serves as a preceptor for students and residents and serves as a resource for pharmacists advancing their clinical skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy
- Eligible for Georgia Licensure
- Candidate is required to be licensed in Georgia prior to official start date
- ASHP-ACCREDITED PGY1 and PGY 2 residencies or equivalent experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required
