About The Position

Symmetrio is partnering with a rapidly growing medical technology organization to identify a Clinical Specialist Manager/Lead to support a cutting-edge neurosurgery platform. This is a high-impact, field-based leadership role responsible for driving clinical excellence, supporting complex surgical procedures, and leading a team of Clinical Specialists across the U.S. The ideal candidate brings a strong neurosurgical background, developed training programs, thrives in the operating room, and has experience mentoring others while helping scale clinical programs nationally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s with additional experience) in a healthcare-related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting neurosurgical procedures in a clinical or medical device environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively 50% (nationally)
  • Background as a Clinical Specialist, Scrub Tech, RN, or similar OR-based role
  • Strong hands-on experience in the operating room, including sterile technique and surgical workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, or lead clinical teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence clinical stakeholders
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with image-guided systems, navigation, or robotics strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage training programs for internal teams, Clinical Specialists, and external customers.
  • Create training materials, demo scripts, clinical workflows, and educational resources to support product adoption.
  • Lead product demonstrations and clinical presentations for surgeons, hospital staff, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Train and coach Clinical Specialists on demo delivery, system workflow, troubleshooting, and customer education.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams to support launches, evaluations, and customer engagement.
  • Serve as the clinical subject matter expert for system use, workflow integration, and competitive positioning.
  • Provide hands-on OR support when needed to reinforce training, adoption, and successful system utilization.
  • Ensure all training, demo, and clinical support activities follow company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
