About The Position

The Clinical Specialist for the ENT and Endoscopy businesses in Ontario plays a critical customer-facing role focused on supporting healthcare professionals in the hospital environment. This role is centered on being in the field, working side by side with physicians, clinicians, and hospital staff to provide procedural support, product expertise, clinical education, and in-the-moment problem solving that helps enable excellent patient care. Success in this position requires a strong in-hospital presence and a genuine commitment to being with customers where care happens. The Clinical Specialist is expected to spend significant time in the field, building trusted relationships, supporting cases and procedures, training users, and ensuring customers are confident and successful with our technologies. This is not a desk-based role; it is best suited for someone energized by frequent hospital interaction, responsive customer support, and a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is competitive, motivated, and driven to go above and beyond for customers and teammates. Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts on-site education and / or consulting.
  • Supports field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers.
  • Partners with sales colleagues to develop and execute plans of sales for within one or more business unit(s).
  • Participates in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
  • Works closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support.
  • Identifies and facilitates execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.
  • Serves as a technical resource to support sales of a specific medical product or solution.
  • Field Travel: this is a field-based role requiring daily hospital visits and Operating Room presence. Periodic overnight travel or weekend activities will be required to serve the geographical needs of the ENT and Endoscopy businesses.
