The Division of Child and Family Services is hiring a full-time Clinical Social Worker 1 for the Intensive In-Home Clinical Services Team. This role provides short-term, high-intensity, home- and community-based interventions for youth with complex behavioral health needs. The position supports youth returning home from treatment, those at risk of out-of-home placement, and those needing intensive stabilization. The Clinical Social Worker leads individual and family therapy, delivers crisis stabilization, develops safety plans, coordinates care, and directs or provides psychosocial rehabilitation and skills training. The role works collaboratively within a small caseload model and serves as part of the Child and Family Team. Candidates must understand child development, trauma-informed care, and family systems, and be able to manage high-stress situations in community settings. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or with a team are required. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 11am–10pm, with shift differential pay. Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients/inmates in a residential, home, inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting. Clinical social work is defined as the application of methods, principles and techniques of casework, group work, community organization, administration, planning, consultation, research and psychotherapeutic methods and techniques to persons, families and groups to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of family issues, mental and emotional conditions, illnesses and disorders, and developmental delays.
