About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Five (5) or more years of clinical experience in the field of Nursing
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership capacity
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arkansas.
  • Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily nursing operations, ensuring efficient staffing, development, budgeting, patient satisfaction, professional growth, and quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to align clinical operations with UAMS goals, payer requirements, government regulations, and internal performance metrics.
  • Implement and uphold the organization’s vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practices, and nursing support services.
  • Practice within the scope and standards of UAMS, the American Nurses Association, and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement.
  • Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, safety, and clinical quality metrics.
  • Develop staffing plans, manage budgets, and monitor resource utilization.
  • Foster a culture of professional development, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
