Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Emergency Response Services (ERS) Clinical Service Leaders are responsible for providing advanced levels of care to patients in both pre-hospital and inter-facility transport roles. This position plays a key role as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team and is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality health care services. The Clinical Service Leader is responsible for providing accessible, responsive, and integrated patient care at all times. The role collaborates with health care providers, allied emergency service agencies, and other community agencies. Clinical Service Leaders provide front line clinical leadership, mentorship, education, evaluation, and involvement in ERS initiatives, and are responsible to monitor ERS system capacity, perform day to day administration, and lead specialized incident response. The incumbent will exercise the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken. The incumbent will provide committed support and clinical care to diverse populations and communities with diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, values, beliefs and traditions including Indigenous communities. This role will demonstrate commitment to the mission, visions, values, goals, objectives, and policies of shared health.
