The Clinical Secretary provides clerical support for the patient care unit by processing and disseminating information; interpreting and transcribing physicians' orders; and by performing receptionist and typing duties. Has primary responsibility for the organization and completeness of the patient's medical record while record is on the unit. The Clinical Secretary understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.
