Requirements

  • Previous experience as a medical scribe or transcriptionist in a clinical setting is highly desirable
  • Exposure to endocrinology terminology and patient care preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR systems such as Athena and Phreesia
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to accurately translate provider-patient interactions into documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or a degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
  • Proficiency with EHR systems (preferably Athena)
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Pre-med or healthcare-focused student taking a gap year before medical school
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in medicine
  • Professional, dependable, and eager to learn
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy clinical environment
