About The Position
TheraEd Staffing Group is seeking a qualified Clinical School Social Worker or School Counselor for a full-time, school-based itinerant position in Frederick, Maryland. The selected candidate will provide clinical and student support services across multiple school locations, helping address students' social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. The schedule is 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, beginning in November and continuing through the end of the school year.
Requirements
- Active LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical) or LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) license.
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Availability for the full contract period.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and counseling support to students.
- Address students' social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Travel between approximately eight assigned school locations throughout the week.
