About The Position

This role focuses on providing clinical support for the Dexter installed base and driving the utilization of Dexter procedures. The specialist will work with customers in their assigned territory to increase the use of Dexter procedures, cross-sell its use to clinical specialties not currently utilizing it within hospitals, and support the sales process. They will collaborate with local Sales Directors/Managers to meet and exceed targets for Dexter surgeries. A key part of the role involves training and supporting surgeons and OR staff in the use of Dexter's robot before and during procedures, offering clinical support during setup, surgery, and post-surgery. The specialist will identify customer needs, manage the handover of Dexter post-delivery to BioMed and OR, and oversee commissioning at customer sites. They will also instruct hospital CDS departments on reprocessing Dexter reusable tools, communicate the clinical benefits of Dexter, and foster customer satisfaction by supporting and developing the surgeon and KOL network. Participation in trade fairs and events, along with market presence, is expected. The role also includes forecasting predicted usage and promoting new products and Dexter upgrades.

Requirements

  • Completed professional training in health care (nurse or anaesthetist or similar..)
  • At least 3 years of operating theatre experience (hospital, clinic) or comparable training as a Clinical Sales or Clinical specialist.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, diligence, proactive hands-on mentality with flexible and organised mindset.
  • High willingness to travel and flexibility within the assigned territory.
  • Fluent in the local official language French (must have).
  • English is required; any additional language is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably with good knowledge in General surgery, Gynaecology and Urology
  • Start-up, Launch, or high growth commercial experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive utilization of Dexter procedures with the customers in assigned territory.
