About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Clinical Risk & Administrative Manager (RPN/RN or SLP) to join our team in a full-time office-based leadership role. This position is ideal for a nurse with extensive clinical and field home care experience who is passionate about supporting staff, overseeing client care, maintaining clinical excellence, and contributing to operational leadership. The Clinical Risk & Administrative Manager will oversee nursing operations, support field staff with concerns, assist with incident management and investigations, coordinate training and onboarding, ensure compliance with clinical standards, and provide administrative leadership within a fast-paced home and community care environment.

Requirements

  • Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Registered Nurse (RN) In good standing with the CNO, or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Minimum 10 years of nursing experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on home care field experience within the GTA (non-administrative)
  • Strong understanding of home and community nursing care
  • Wide range of clinical experience across multiple patient populations and care settings
  • Additional certifications, continuing education, and specialized nursing courses required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Additional training or certifications related to home care considered a strong asset
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and support to nursing staff and client care operations
  • Track client risks daily, investigate concerns as they arise, and support timely follow-up to help maintain safe and effective care
  • Manage, follow up, and complete incident reports and clinical documentation
  • Address client and employee concerns promptly and proactively by identifying root causes and resolving issues at the source
  • Participate in problem-solving, escalations, and clinical support as required
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, best practices, and professional standards
  • Support quality improvement and compliance initiatives and policy development
  • Assist with clinical supervision, mentorship, and staff performance support
  • Coordinate and support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff education
  • Act as a liaison between new clients and The Care Company, working with Ontario Health coordinators to support a smooth intake, onboarding, and care coordination process
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to support effective care planning and communication
  • Assist with client scheduling needs by supporting office calls, troubleshooting issues, coordinating updates, and helping ensure reliable coverage
  • Assist with operational and administrative nursing functions
