About The Position

Texas Oncology is seeking a Full-time Clinical Research Nurse (RN) to join their team, supporting the Dallas Sammons location. This position is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays. The role can be filled at Level 1, 2, or Sr, depending on the candidate's experience. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited program for nursing education required (BSN preferred)
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in state of practice
  • Current BLCS or ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • OCN certification strongly preferred
  • CCRC or CCRP certification preferred
  • Oncology or Research experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required, preferably in oncology (for Level 2)
  • Minimum seven years of nursing experience required, preferably in oncology (for Sr Level)

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • OCN certification strongly preferred
  • CCRC or CCRP certification preferred
  • Oncology or Research experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with physicians to identify and screen potential patients for clinical trial participation
  • Present trial concepts and details to oncology patients while conducting the informed consent process.
  • Assess patients for adverse events and/or changes in condition
  • Provide staff and patient education regarding the management and administration of investigational product
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry to meet trial requirements
  • Serve as a liaison between clinic departments to ensure proper trial conduct
