Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator
About The Position
Dr. Kristina Petersen’s lab in the Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator to support externally funded clinical trials investigating dietary interventions and risk factors for heart disease and diabetes. This role will involve study coordination for clinical trials being conducted in the lab. Training will be provided for the specific tasks this position requires. This position will involve approximately 20 hours per week of work with typical working hours being Monday to Friday 6:45 am to 10:45 am. This is an in-person job in State College, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- Prior experience in humans subjects research is required
- Reliable, proactive, task-orientated, attentive to detail
- Excellent communication, team-work, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in clinical trial coordination is highly desired
Responsibilities
- Coordinating participant recruitment
- Conducting telephone and clinic screenings
- Coordinating data collection visits
- Visit scheduling
- Managing participant flow through the trials
- Research-related administrative tasks
