As part of the Department of Psychiatry, Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Division, the Penn Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery Center (PERC) offers consultations on diagnosis, treatment, support and skill development for adolescents and young adults (ages 16-35 years) who exhibit warning signs of emerging psychosis or early psychosis, and their families. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for providing support for PERC staff, patients and family members. Position contingent upon funding. The Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery Center (PERC) in the Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Section of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to - Provide supported employment and education services (SEES) at the PERC clinic offices, in the community, or virtually - Conduct screenings of referred individuals to help determine program eligibility, appointment scheduling and billing - Provide administrative support for PERC operations, including referral tracking, eligibility screening coordination, appointment scheduling, billing-related coordination, documentation, database entry, and other clinic/program support tasks as needed - Develop relationships with potential employers, educational programs, and job training organizations to support participants' employment, education, and training goals The Clinical Coordinator will provide SEES services under the supervision of the SEES Supervisor and work closely with the Team Lead and to provide individualized care to young people with early psychosis as part of a multidisciplinary care team. SEES are an essential component of coordinated specialty care for early psychosis and include supporting the young person in exploring interests and goals, navigating educational and employment pathways and programs, pursuing employment opportunities including assistance with job searches, applications, resumes, and interviews, school or training program navigation, and providing support around academic or workplace accommodations.
