About The Position

Our office conducts clinical trials with patients who have chronic kidney disease, polycystic kidney disease, glomerular disease, and/or hypertension. Many of our trials assess novel therapies in these populations. This position will serve as the coordinator for an ongoing interventional trial assessing the impact of intramuscular muscle strength training (IMST) on systolic blood pressure in adults with chronic kidney disease. This position will provide support to other trials in our office as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • One (1) year of clinical research or related experience (for Intermediate Level).
  • Two (2) years clinical research or related experience (for Senior Level).
  • A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology medical terminology.
  • Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or health related field.
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g. EMR or EHR and data management systems).
  • Three (3) years of clinical research or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining regulatory documents.
  • Managing study data.
  • Processing participant specimens.
