About The Position
IMA Clinical Research is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to join our Chicago team and play a key role in advancing new therapies and improving patient outcomes. In this role, you’ll help manage clinical trials from start-up through closeout while working directly with study participants and collaborating with investigators, sponsors, CROs, and monitors. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and participant care.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience with metabolic, endocrine, internal medicine, or related therapeutic studies preferred
- CCRC certification welcomed but not required
Responsibilities
- Coordinate participant visits, assessments, and follow-up appointments
- Manage study activities across multiple clinical trials
- Perform venipuncture and process laboratory specimens
- Maintain accurate source documentation and regulatory files in accordance with GCP and sponsor requirements
- Support participant recruitment, enrollment, retention, and education
- Identify and report adverse events while maintaining study quality standards
