About The Position

The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium (PNOC) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join the Operations Office. This role will support the Data Team Lead, Project Managers, and Operations Manager in data management, quality oversight, regulatory document management, participant registration, and other special projects. The CRC will work under the supervision of the Data Team Lead and contribute to the overall success of the consortium. Priority will be given to candidates with prior knowledge of ethics committee (IRB) submissions and experience with patient, data, consenting, and regulatory document management within clinical research trials. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner and creative communicator, comfortable working flexibly and cooperatively within a team dedicated to learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in clinical research is ideal.
  • Prior knowledge of ethics committee (IRB) submissions is preferred.
  • Experience with patient, data, consenting, and regulatory document management within a clinical research trial is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexibly and cooperatively.

Responsibilities

  • Execute, manage, and coordinate research protocols as directed by the Data Team Lead, Project Manager(s) and/or Operations Manager.
  • Coordinate the data review and operations of several concurrent clinical research studies under the guidelines of research protocols, UCSF and regulating agency policies.
  • Interface with patients and support the PNOC Operations Office staff in administrative, data, and quality functions.
  • Assist with data management and quality oversight.
  • Oversee regulatory documents and submissions.
  • Manage participant registration.
  • Undertake other special projects as needed.
