The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work under the direct supervision of the Research Program Manager. The Clinical Research Coordinator, as part of single- and multicenter infectious disease research studies and public health programs, will assist with the day-to-day logistical and operational activities of clinical research and implementation efforts focused on HIV, viral hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The Research Program Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, screening, and enrolling study participants; supporting the implementation and evaluation of ED-based public health programs; and organizing, entering, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all clinical research and programmatic data for complex and detailed clinical trials and public health initiatives. Researchers at Johns Hopkins University conduct clinical trials and clinical studies to discover new ways to prevent and treat diseases and other health problems. The Clinical Research Coordinator administratively coordinates clinical protocol implementation, typically for a single study. Will ensure efficient logistical implementation of the study activities and provide administrative support for research-related regulatory issues.
