The Institute for Population and Precision Health (IPPH) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to perform routine assignments related to the documentation and reporting of basic clinical studies. This role supports decisions impacting clinical research across the University. The IPPH integrates a wide spectrum of factors such as human health behaviors, environmental factors, social and economic factors, policies, and genetic determinants of health into studies focused on disease treatment and prevention, as well as wellness maintenance. The Institute leverages the University of Chicago’s institutional strength in population science with research spanning diverse fields like genetic medicine, cancer epidemiology, microbiome, and epigenomics, all with the goal of improving human health outcomes. A key objective is to develop a new multidisciplinary training program for researchers in emerging tools and methods for precision health research within a population health framework. Faculty within the Institute lead research projects in biostatistics, epidemiology, and health services research, and collaborate with faculty in other departments on complex health and healthcare problems. This at-will position is funded by contractual grant funding, which is renewed based on grantor provisions. Employment is contingent upon continued grant funding and satisfactory job performance.
