The General Hospital Corporation Mass General Brigham is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to patient care, research, teaching, and community service. This full-time Clinical Research Coordinator position is based at Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on research into self-injury and depression among youth. The role involves assisting with NIMH- and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-funded studies that aim to improve short-term risk prediction for suicidal behavior in adolescents. These studies utilize computational methods to model neurocognitive markers and/or ambulatory indices, including mobile technology for actigraphy, passive sensing of physiological arousal, social engagement, physical activity, and ecological momentary assessment in psychiatrically hospitalized youth. Additionally, some studies employ computer vision to identify visual indicators of suicide risk among adolescents. The coordinator will work under the mentorship of Dr. Richard Liu and Dr. Taylor Burke. This position is particularly well-suited for individuals seeking to gain research and clinical experience prior to applying for graduate or medical school.
