This position is for a Clinical Research Coordinator III at Emory University's School of Medicine, within the Emergency Medicine department. The role involves independently managing significant aspects of large clinical trials or all aspects of smaller trials. It includes training and guiding less experienced staff, overseeing data management, and interacting with research participants to resolve study-related issues. The position also involves authorizing purchases, developing recruitment and retention strategies, auditing operations for regulatory compliance, and managing IRB submissions. Additionally, the role requires interfacing with study sponsors, reporting SAEs, resolving study queries, and contributing to policy/process improvements. The coordinator will also assist in developing grant proposals and protocols. Depending on credentials and training, phlebotomy, specimen collection, or diagnostics may be performed. Some supervisory duties may also be included. This role supports clinical research, and all clinical training requirements must be tracked and monitored through Emory Healthcare. The position is primarily in-person, with potential for remote work at the department's discretion.
