About The Position

Collects, compiles, and presents clinical data for an assigned area, ensuring the information is accurate, timely, and accessible. Maintains clinical and/or research databases for identified programs or specialty clinics. Collects data for multiple purposes, which may include process improvement activities and clinical effectiveness or research studies. May prepare information for patient and family education and/or participate in community outreach activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science or a health-related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree.
Two years of recent relevant experience.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations and international guidelines related to Good Clinical Practices in clinical research.
Ability to interpret varied data and instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Written and verbal communication skills to communicate with team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel.
Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines within standardized policies and procedures.
Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
