About The Position
The Clinical Research Center at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research supports investigators across Main Line Health in multiple clinical areas, including cardiology, gynecology, oncology, pulmonology, surgery and others. There will be opportunities to network and build relationships across departments and gain knowledge in multiple disease areas. The Clinical Research Coordinator will manage a variety phase II-IV clinical research projects. This individual will work under limited supervision and instruction from investigators and senior clinical research staff.
Requirements
- 4 years clinical research experience, or Masters degree with 2 years clinical research experience
- Experience working in health care or a health care setting is required
- BA/BS required
Responsibilities
- Screen potentially eligible patients for studies; participate in the informed consent process
- Data abstraction from the electronic medical record and reporting into the study database
- Maintain essential documents
- Administer questionnaires
- Package and ship research specimens
- Coordinate and schedule study visits
- Maintain compliance with the research protocol and all relevant regulations and polices
- Schedule and host external monitor visits
- Facilitate study team meetings
- Participate in study start up activities
