About The Position
The Clinical Research Coordinator assists with the daily activities of clinical research studies. The role obtains informed consent, collects and organizes study information, and helps prepare grant applications and study documents, including materials for the Institutional Review Board and Grants and Contracts Office.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in science or a closely related field.
- No experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Collect and record study data and enter information into databases.
- Obtain informed consent under minimal supervision of the investigator(s) and educate participants about study requirements.
- Assist with clinical research study activities, including answering phone calls, screening participants for eligibility, registering subjects with sponsoring agencies, and administering lifestyle questionnaires.
- Help prepare grant applications and materials for Institutional Review Board and Grants and Contracts Office submission and filing.
- Maintain source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures.
- Review charts to ensure subject data is compiled accurately and completely.
- Secure, deliver, and ship clinical specimens as required by the protocol.
- Prepare for monitoring visits.
- Perform other related duties.
