Works under the direction of an Investigator(s) with general supervision, to coordinate research projects. This position primarily performs patient/participant coordination, however, may conduct data management in smaller departments on as needed basis. Collects and ensures quality control of clinical or basic research data in support of multiple and/or complex research studies. The Okuda Neuroinnovation Lab is involved in the advancement of improvised solutions and emerging innovations that improve the delivery of medical care provided to patients. Our mission is to design and develop original devices, software solutions, and combined unique methodologies that translate into discoveries for next generation care. A significant component of our work expands current in vivo imaging capabilities. Our custom-designed platforms enable the study of 3-dimensional shape, surface texture/curvature, and structural characteristics of brain lesions, as well as anatomical structures in the context of neurological disease. These efforts enhance our diagnostic capabilities, improve clinical surveillance, and enable the effective assessment of both approved disease-modifying therapies and investigational molecules with regenerative properties.
