The Clinical Research Coordinator assists in the daily activities of clinical research studies, obtains informed consent; collects, maintains and organizes study information. Assists in preparing grant applications and documents (for e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office). The Clinical Research Coordinator I will assist in all daily activities of clinical research studies. The CRC I, under minimal supervision of the Project Manager, interacts with study participants, obtains informed consent; collects, maintains and organizes study samples and data. They will support the Project Manager in preparing grant applications and study documents (for e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office, study sponsors. This individual will be based at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and travel to clinic spaces for sample collections. In this role, the CRC I will gain exposure to a portfolio of related research studies in the inflammatory bowel disease and Parkinson’s disease spaces and more.
