Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of documented laboratory experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn laboratory software and systems.
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment with appropriate guidance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Professional, customer-focused communication style with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, thorough, and flexible approach to work.

  • Experience with routine laboratory testing and handling large sample sets preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses using established products, methods, and procedures within routine Clinical Sample Analysis activities.
  • Handle, analyze, and process laboratory samples ranging from small to large sample sets while maintaining high quality and adherence to established protocols.
  • Work independently within the Clinical Sample Analysis team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support consistent laboratory processes.
  • Follow established methods, processes, and techniques for clinical sample analysis.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory systems in accordance with applicable quality-system requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers and provide a customer-focused approach to laboratory activities.
  • Collaborate with experienced Clinical Sample Analysis Specialists to troubleshoot technical, sample-related, customer, and general laboratory issues.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep.
  • Support laboratory equipment activities as an equipment superuser, including installation, operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment, systems, and supplies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and equipment/instrument vendors as needed to support laboratory operations.
  • Participate in additional projects and perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
