About The Position

The Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Research Team is seeking a Research Assistant to support the coordination and day-to-day operation of clinical research studies involving individuals with spinal cord injury. The Research Assistant will work closely with investigators, research staff, students, and study participants to ensure that study activities are completed accurately and according to approved research protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience required.
  • 0 years of relevant experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day research study activities and logistics.
  • Assist with participant recruitment, screening, scheduling, enrollment, and follow-up.
  • Communicate and interact professionally with research participants.
  • Assist with research visits, study procedures, and collection of research data.
  • Ensure study activities are conducted according to approved protocols, standard operating procedures, and IRB requirements.
  • Maintain accurate study documentation, participant tracking records, and research databases.
  • Prepare study materials and coordinate research supplies, intervention materials, specimen collection, and other study-related logistics.
  • Assist with data entry, quality control, and REDCap or other research databases.
  • Coordinate with research staff, clinical teams, laboratories, and other study partners as needed.
  • Participate in research team meetings and assist with other study-related activities.
