About The Position

The Clinical Research Assistant in the Neurology Parkinson’s Disease Center is responsible for scheduling, recruitment, evaluation, education of patients for clinical trials, documentation, and assisting the research team.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in the medical field.
  • Relevant education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Certified Nursing Aid.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree(s) in related field.
  • Experience working in the Neurology field.
  • Experience working with Parkinson’s Disease patients.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and educate patients for clinical trials.
  • Schedule clinical trial patients for various assessments required by studies.
  • Evaluate potential patient eligibility for clinical trials.
  • Maintain source documents and case report forms (CRF’s) for clinical trials.
  • Perform subject visits procedures as needed.
  • Provide written and verbal reports to Principal Investigator and Project Manager.
